COX Radio Promotes Kori White to operations manager for WBHk 98.7 kiss-fm, wbhj 95.7 JAMZ-FM, WAGG-AM 610 and wpsb-am 1320 serving BIRMINGHAM, alabama
BIRMINGHAM, AL – (February 7, 2008) - Cox Radio (NYSE: CXR) announced today that Kori White has been promoted to Operations Manager for WBHK 98.7 KISS-FM, WBHJ 95.7 JAMZ-FM, WAGG/Heaven 610 AM and WPSB-AM 1320 serving the Birmingham market. Mr. White also serves as the Director of Marketing and Promotions for WBHK 98.7 FM and WAGG/Heaven 610 AM. His appointment is effective February 11.
In his role as Operations Manager, Mr. White will support and assist Darryl Johnson, Program Director of WBHK-FM, Mary K. Schmitt, Program Director for WBHJ-FM and WAGG/Heaven AM, in their day-to-day operations.
Mr. White began his career at Cox Radio in 1996 working overnights at WBHJ 95.7 JAMZ before taking over mid-day programming responsibilities. During his tenure at Cox Radio, Mr. White has worked in a variety of departments within the Birmingham station group including Market Administrator for the Company’s Web site department and Community Service Liaison.

A native of Birmingham, Kori got his first radio experience while attending the College of Communications and Information Sciences at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa at WTUG as a board operator running the Walt Baby Love Show. After graduating, he became the night host of the Quiet Storm.
